Baby acne is a big thing among some people. Some people know about it and some don’t. Basically speaking, it’s completely natural, and oftentimes they find that it’s actually caused more by the presence of the mother’s hormones still in the baby. Generally speaking, you just have to keep the skin cleansed and protected, basically treat it like any adult case of acne, and then it will go away over time on its own. Some people have of course taken infants to the doctor worrying that it was a sign of some bigger problem. But in all reality, it’s not a big deal at all. Baby acne is just like adult acne, it’s not serious, it’s not like acne conglobata or otherwise. So if your baby has baby acne, just remember to use a gentle cleanser, probably the same bath solution that you are using anyway. Do the things you would do for example to prevent diaper rash, and it will definitely extend more to that particular area. Baby acne is definitely a problem. You just have to know what you are doing and not panic about it. It’s something that happens quite often, and it won’t last months or for that matter years like some other acne related problems.
